I recently purchased the Acid Yellow Clio V6 from Appreciating Classics, without even going to view it.

The reason I did this was because I’ve been friends with Richard on Facebook for quite some time now, and follow his page, so I know full well that his attention to detail is second to none!!
Richard delivered the car to me yesterday, and it completely blew me away!
It was everything I expected, and a whole lot more... I honestly couldn’t have asked for more from him, even down to the USB stick on the keys, with a catalogue of pictures of the car!

The V6 sits so well in my collection, and I wouldn’t hesitate buying another car from him.
Richard has set the bar so high with his car sales, and communication, that I’d be extremely surprised if anybody could ever come close to matching him!

It's not everyday I am left overwhelmed and speechless, but the professional service I got from Richard and Carly at Appreciating Classics was second to none.

My Mitsubishi Evolution V was as described and more, right down to having all the history filed away in folders and even had an extra surprise in the boot with a very nice top of the range car cover to compliment the deal.
What can one say as in these very uncertain times you can still give 110%. If I ever need to buy or sell another car I know where I will be going, they may be over four hours away from me but it will be worth every mile of it.!

I did not see the cars until they turned up by transport , Paul who delivered the cars was a nice chap also and was caring how they came off the trailer to avoid any scuffs.

I am happy with the CS400 how it looks and condition and supporting paperwork that goes with the cars history , just a shame I have not driven it yet but I don't think I will be disappointed . As for the mini, well that really is a cracker, I have only been in it as passenger for a couple of miles and it is spot on, paint protection done now and it is now looking better than new.

I would definitely recommend ACL to anybody who is looking for their next pride n joy for quality and hassle free buying

Rich at Appreciating Classics recently sold my Subaru CS400 for me.
From the initial appraisal, fantastic photography, transparent communications to the sale and payment, all aspects of the service provided were simply first class!

I recently bought a 2000 mile UG FRS from Richard at Appreciating Classics wihtout viewing the car, so the purchase was solely based on Richard's description of the vehicles condition & for those that know me / my cars through the 'car scene' will know i am a fussy customer (an anorak according to the wife).

I am pleased to say the car is absolutely mint, everything was as described by Richard, in fact better and of course this is the most important thing. But when buying anything it does go deeper - ie: service from my initial enquiry through to delivery and meeting Richard yesterday, the service i have received has been first class. Arranging a full service, detailing of the car, and a few other bits i wanted, were all done without question, if you are looking for a classic, modern classic, motorbike, or whatever, i would not hesitate to recommend Appreciating Classics, check their website as they have some great vehicles popping up all the time.

It is not often i am left speechless, but today i have been overwhelmed by a surprise i have been given by Richard at Appreciating Classics.

Today he went out of his way to hand deliver me a present. All i can say is a massive thank you! We spend £100,000's each year with companies and get absolutely nothing back, this man shows his absolute passion for cars and his customers by doing what he has done today. That is what makes life long friends and builds lifelong business relationships.

I recently purchased a low mileage Audi C5 RS6, I placed a deposit without viewing the car based on numerous email exchanges and a telephone call with Rich. He was able to give a detailed description along with identifying any marks or blemishes on the car (which were very few, given the age and mileage of the car)

We agreed price and service preparation for the car, along with some minor paint correction on one panel.
The entire purchase process was honest, straightforward and painless.

The end result was a very happy customer with a brilliant example of a rare car in such condition and mileage.

They mightn’t be the cheapest dealer around, but with all things in life, you get what you pay for.

I recently purchased a Mondeo ST24 from Richard at ‘Appreciating Classics Limited’ the car I know not everybody’s cup of tea but I love them. The condition of the car is outstanding and as described in the advert. Initially I asked Richard to store the car for me until the fine weather and he gladly obliged in the superb storage facility alongside some real gems . I collected the car and got it home only to find one of the rear doors would not lock via the central locking I made a call and the car was collected, repaired and returned within the next couple of days. I could not recommend ‘ACL’ and Richard highly enough, I wouldn’t hesitate in purchasing another car from them when the piggy bank is replenished many thanks to Richard oh and thanks for the 1 hour long walk around looking at the fine stock, absolute heaven

I came across Appreciating Classics on the internet and spotted their low mileage Focus MK2 RS. As a massive RS Cosworth fan as a child, it has been a dream to own one. The seven hour round trip to their showroom was well worth it. Rich made it easy, picking me up from and dropping me off at the station, the car was immaculate as described in the advert, and nothing was too much trouble.
I had a few hours to admire the rest of the showroom stock and discuss the cars with Rich, who is clearly a fellow car enthusiast. I found the purchase process straightforward, as was the transportation arrangements. Needless to say I am pleased with the purchase, and hope to use Appreciating Classics again in the future. They certainly have great quality, unique stock, with a quality service to match.

Recently purchased an R8 V10 from ACL whcih was unseen until the day of collection - sensible price, car as described and the service was smooth.
When a tiny little niggle surfaced a few weeks after purchase ACL managed to get it sorted with no fuss.

Very happy with our little Abarth i bought my Wife. In fact, i often pinch it to take to work, which may not be that surprising, but my own car is a 2011 Nissan GTR! Richard was incredibly easy to deal with. I own a motorcycle dealer and its great to deal with sellers with the same enthusiasm as we have. I made contact with Appreciating Classics, upon seeing their advert for a low mileage Capri 280 for sale, and I arranged to visit them. Given that I was coming from London, I wanted to spend some time discussing the car with them before making the trip. When I arrived, the car was as described to a tee, which was encouraging.

The car had some very minor details that needed attending to, after having a full RAC check. I was pleased with Appreciating Classics genuine desire to have the mechanical work done, and at a highly competitive rate, and completed on time for the delivery of the car.

Richard was a pleasure to deal with. This is a relatively new business in a very crowded market place, where competition is rife. Appreciating Classics have very high quality vehicles, and deal with customers in a courteous and professional manner, this makes them stand out from the rest.

I found Appreciating Classics after a bit of a trawl of the internet. I was so impressed by the detail of pictures and quality of description that I bought my Capri 280 without even seeing it. Although, Mike Brewer (wheeler dealers) would say not to do this, I had a chat with Richard and Steve and they put my mind at rest regarding buying a 26 year old car, they had so much knowledge and car history, and I certainly didn’t feel under any pressure to buy.

When the car was delivered I was truly amazed, the condition was even better in real life than the 30+ pictures on the web site. This is where the problem began, I realised I simply didn’t have the heart to use the car as a 200 mile a week commute vehicle, it was simply too good! I spoke to Richard after 3 months of ownership and explained my thoughts, he totally understood and arranged for collection of the car, (at Appreciating Classic’s cost). Richard then sold the car again on my behalf and hopefully its gone to a good home where someone wants to take it for a blast on sunny Sunday mornings... I can only say it was a pleasure doing business with the boys and would gladly do business with them again.

May I extend my sincere thanks to Steve and the team at Appreciating Classics for a completely refreshing purchase experience. I purchased an immaculate 1986 Ford Capri MK3 1.6 Laser from Steve and the vehicle was exactly as described.

At no extra cost to me, pre sale, they had the car serviced, MOT’d, taxed, and the cambelt replaced – things that 99% of companies leave for the next owner to carry out at their expense – refreshing to say the least and it meant I could drive the 410 mile journey home with complete confidence – the car never missed a beat.

Throughout the whole process Steve kept me informed with pictures, videos, and emails. Steve collected me from the train station (some 15 miles from his business) and was eager to hear I had made it home safely, sending a text to make sure. I just wanted to drop you a quick email to say how happy I am with my recent purchase of my new 1985 Toyota Celica Supra 2.8i, from the moment I met you Guys. I knew I had met two like minded Petrol heads, although I must just say, I thought I knew my Cars but you two are on another level and as you know I could of left with about four of the Cars that you had for sale, if finances would of allowed it.
