History

First registered 13/06/1986, it is clear to see that this Golf GTi has led a pampered life.

All original booklets are within the history file, including the service booklet which shows regular maintenance, mainly with VAG dealers/specialists.
The MOT history file is complete, other than the few years when the car was sorned and kept off the road.

Also within the history file is the certificate of installation for the alarm, along with a rolling road setup printout, showing a very healthy 114bhp.
Various invoices are also present, along with the spare key, and the original ‘All White’ brochure.

A complete and comprehensive history file, sure to please any VW enthusiast.

Body & Paintwork

A stunning Golf GTi Convertible, which presents very well indeed.

This vehicle has no corrosion, at all – anywhere.
The bodywork is free of any damage or dents, and the paintwork is superb.

Having checked the car with a paint depth gauge, it appears all paintwork is original, except for the bonnet, which appears to have been re-painted to a very high standard many years ago.
All bumpers are original and without any damage, the wheels are original and unmarked, the roof is in great condition, with no splitting present.

All lights, badges, and glass are all in great condition.

We think it would be very difficult to find a Golf GTi ‘Triple White/All White’ in this condition, extremely original, unmodified and ready to win shows!

Interior & Trim

The interior of this vehicle is superb.

Not only is it hard to find a ‘Triple White/All White’ example in the first place, but when you do, generally the interior has worn very poorly, especially the white seats and trims.

This example has had seat covers fitted most of its life, and it really shows.
The white seats are simply superb and the door cards are in great condition.

All other trims are in very good order, and all switch gear is fully working.
We only supply the best examples we can find, and this car is no exception, it really is a top shelf example.

Engine

An absolute little gem.

1.8 8v, which runs beautifully.
Starts first turn of the key when cold, runs nice and quietly with no tapping or knocking at all.

Regular servicing and a recent rolling road set up have helped keep this little engine running at its absolute best, and the car showed a very healthy 114bhp on the rolling road set up (the print out is within the history file).

The engine bay itself presents very nicely indeed, nice and original, still maintaining the protection wax in places, and showing no signs of any corrosion.
The car is ready to be displayed at shows.

Running Gear

As per the rest of the car, the running gear is all in great order.

The suspension legs, beam, lower arms etc are all in good order, presenting very well.
Wheels are unmarked.

The underside of the car itself is superb, it has never been welded, and is in fantastic condition.

Extremely rare to find in this condition.
