Here we are pleased to offer for sale, our ‘Grasshopper Green’ Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition, with only 3,433 miles & one owner from new!

The Nurburgring was far from just an exercise in marketing, this was a comprehensive upgrade of the Corsa VXR: with new Bilstein dampers, progressive rate springs, Brembo 4 piston calipers, lightweight forged wheels, a step up in power & maybe most significantly – a proper limited-slip differential.

Finished in arguably the best colour, ‘Lime / Grasshopper’ Green, this VXR Nurburgring looks great.
To help set the Nurburgring apart they have specific lightweight forged 18” wheels, twin tail pipes, different rear bumper, and a front splitter amongst other external differences.

Not only did this set them apart from the regular VXR, but it also gave the car a much more aggressive & modern appearance.

This low mileage example presents exactly as you would expect, with the paintwork presenting very well, all badges, glass and lights are in excellent condition and the wheels are still in original finish.

A great looking car, in a great colour, in great condition.

As you would expect, the interior is in superb condition throughout.

The original steering wheel and gear knob are in great order with very minimal wear, as are the brilliant Recaro seats which have the Nurburgring race circuit embossed on them.
The carpets are without any damage, and the original floor mats are in great condition.

No modifications have been carried out, it is exactly as Vauxhall intended, the dashboard & all trims are all superb and as new.
Everything works just as it should do.

Ready to be enjoyed or added to a collection.

The Corsa VXR at time of release, was never really lacking in straight line performance when compared to its competition, but with the introduction of the Fiesta ST, Vauxhall need to up the power level on such a special Edition, so the Nurburgring came with around 13bhp & over 30nm of torque more than the regular VXR.

Combine this with the chassis improvements and the Nurburgring Edition became a very serious tool within the sector at the time, and indeed reviews at the time expressed the fact that these were a very capable & fast little hot hatch.

The engine bay itself presents very well & demonstrates the low mileage very well.
With full service history, and a recent cambelt by ourselves (using genuine parts) you can rest assured the car wants for nothing.

The chassis & running gear is where Vauxhall really focused on the Nurburgring Edition, with some rather major changes.

Bilstein dampers & springs were used which sat the car lower by 20mm at the front and 15mm at the rear, also used were lightweight Brembo brakes, including 4 piston front calipers, revised ABS & most importantly a mechanical limited slip differential which transformed the cars handling capabilities.

This examples has a truly fantastic condition underside having benefitted from a dry ice blast clean to the chassis & running gear to really show off the original condition.
