1993 Vauxhall Astra GSi
Richards own little love child.
A genuine Phase1 Astra GSi, with the original engine still fitted.
In the two years Richard has owned the vehicle, he has carried out extensive works to transform this car, from a very tidy example, in to a show winning example, which must be the best original GSi available today.
Below are details of the specifications, and the works carried out.
All mechanical work has been carried out by Richard himself, to a very high standard.
A very pampered car, which is as at home on a track, as it is, winning shows.

The car has extensive history.
Original handbooks are present, along with all old MOT’s, and every single tax disc.
Many many receipts (two folders worth), detailing works dating right back to 1993.
Receipts present for the gearbox rebuild, head rebuild, with genuine lifters, head skim, plus much much more.
Also many pictures are available, of the full strip down and professional repaint.
Body & Paintwork
This car has undergone a professional full strip down, and repaint in the original Spectral Blue colour.
The repaint has been done to a very very high standard, interior out, windows out, etc.
Brand new genuine rear quarter panels were fitted at the same time, to ensure longevity of the shell.
A few upgrades have been done to the car, externally to modernise the aesthetics a little.

Engine was ran on dyno before much of the above works, and ran a very healthy 158bhp, power is now estimated to be 170bhp.
Considering the light weight nature of this car, plus the large list of upgrades overall, this is a match for modern Civic Type R’s, and such like, much to their surprise.
Drives perfectly, and without fault.
