Quite possibly the best Mk1 MR2 in existence?
The MR2 is somewhat of an icon, sometimes over looked due to the bigger siblings such as the Celica’s & Supra’s, but if you have ever had the pleasure of driving an MR2 then you will get why they are so highly regarded & why they are becoming ever more sought after.

This is a one of a kind car & is ready to join any collection, or indeed to be enjoyed out on the roads if desired.

Purchased by the original owner from Toyota Garage – Springtown Motors in Northern Ireland.
This was a late registered Mk1 & remained with the original owner until August 2021, that is over 31 years with the original owner.
The car was loved & cared for by the original owner, who used the car very infrequently, indeed the car never saw a night sky as it was within a heated garage from new & this is clearly demonstrated by the superb original condition.

All original booklets are with the car, along with the correct original wallet & spare keys.

We have just carried out a cambelt service within our workshop & the car has recently had new Continental tyres fitted.

As of course you would expect from such a low mileage car, the bodywork is absolutely as fantastic throughout.

We have checked all panels with a paint depth gauge, & can confirm all paintwork is original, including the wheels.
The spare wheel still retains the original Continental Sport Contact tyre, however the wheels (which are in superb original condition) have new Continental tyres fitted.

All trims, badges, decals & glass are in absolutely great original condition.

MR2’s can be known for corrosion issues, let us assure you that is not the case with this example, it is superb!
A beautiful example all round, which we feel would be extremely hard to repeat.

As per the rest of the car, this interior is simply like stepping back in time.

The fabric seats which are extremely comfortable, the trims, pedal rubbers, steering wheel, gear knob, switch gear, sunroof cover, dashboard, door cards, are all in stunning order.
Everything operates exactly as it should do.

The ergonomics of the Mk1 MR2 just feel so right, a fantastic place to be & a great car to drive.

The fantastic little 1.6 16v DOHC engine bursts in to life without any hesitations.

We have of course test driven the car, it drives brilliant just as an MR2 should, we have had a few low mileage Mk1 MR2’s, the is by far the lowest mileage we have come across & that shows when driving the car, it feels tight & as you expect it would have when new.

The engine makes no unwanted taps or noises, it performs well & presents well too of course.
A real one of a kind car.

All running gear is in splendid original order, even the original paper labels are still in place underneath.

New tyres are fitted so the car can confidently be driven on the road rather than on 32 year old tyres.

The clutch & gearbox are a pleasure to operate & the car drives very well indeed.
