1987 Sierra RS Cosworth

Bought new by Mr G Topsom, from Gilbert Rice Limited of Cambridge.
The car was used sparingly up until 1991, when the car was put into storage until 1996 being used only a couple of times.

In 1996 the car was sold to Mr T Coles of Lowestoft.
Once Mr T Coles purchased the vehicle, it was serviced and used sparingly up until 2004 when it was put back into storage.

In 2013 the car was sold to Mr A Collins who simply put the car straight into storage and did not even drive the vehicle!

A real head turner, this White Cosworth will have people smiling at you, and giving you thumbs up wherever you take it.
The paintwork is absolutely fantastic, all panels are original panels and the car has no ripples or dents.

Some very slight damage to the front splitter does not detract from this great example, of a rare and original 3dr Cosworth!

All rubbers are like new, and just emphasises the fact that the car has always been kept indoors and away from wet weather.

The underside of the car is in great condition, clearly demonstrating that the car has been used in dry weather, and stored in appropriate conditions!
No welding has been carried out, and no welding is needed, our local Ford trained mechanic who is very familiar with these cars said himself that this example is extremely good underneath.

As you can see from the pictures, the original seats could be described as ‘perfect’…. The bolsters are ‘as new’, with no softening, wear marks, rips or tears anywhere,

All switches and gauges work just as they should, including the Multi-Function Display unit.
The stereo is the original, along with the original amp.

All doorcards are simply fantastic, no lifting has occurred, they retain the original shape perfectly and have no splits, they are as it left the factory!

The boot is immaculate, looking as though it has barely been used at all.

The dashboard has 4 very tiny tiny cracks, and this is being very picky.
The dash has not warped out of original shape, it is perfectly straight and is by far the best original dash we have seen.

The engine runs perfectly well, starts first time every time, it does not smoke at all, either on start-up, overrun, or when on boost.
The car drives very well, perfectly tight and straight.

The gearbox is extremely smooth, with no whines, or crunches at any speed.
The car even still retains the original exhaust.

Having just undergone a major service, you can rest assured this car will return many happy miles.

This Cosworth drives very well indeed, the brakes work perfectly and are excellent, even by todays standards.

The steering is tight and precise, all suspension bushes are in good condition, having all been checked as part of the major service which we have had carried out on this vehicle and the front control arm bushes have just been replaced.

All wheels are currently being professionally re-furbished to the correct finish, and all tyres are in very good condition.

Having had a number of Sierra Cosworth’s, we can assure you this one is a pleasure to drive.
