Low build number – 20
Original ‘Accident Management Pack’
Original booklets & wallets
2x Original keys
Fresh main dealer service (including belts)
New Michelin front tyres (Rear are also Michelin)

History

Of the rumored 1,309 units built in the phase 2 variation this is a low build number, being number 20.

Within the history file of this Clio V6 are the original booklets, with tin the original Renault wallet.
Also with the car is the original accident management pack, and of course 2x keys.

Old MOT’s and services substantiate the low mileage which is only 19,877 from new.
Having spent the last 4 years tucked away as part of a collection, we opted to have a service carried out by a main dealer and this included the all important belts.

Various other invoices are within the history file, for things such as tyres and batteries etc.

Body & Paintwork

Arguably one of the most outrageous Renaults ever to be made, the phase 2 Clio V6 just looks incredible.
Being a phase 2 it is also the most sought after variant.

This example is still presented very well, having just benefited from having the front end refreshed (bonnet & bumper with wings blended) so it is free from any stone chips.

Only a few very minor marks are present, which are only what you would expect from a car of this age, all glass appears to be original, as do the badges and trims.

No bodywork changes/modifications have been carried out so the car is as Renault intended.

Interior & Trim

As you would expect, the interior is good condition and without modification.

The original steering wheel and gear knob are still in place, the steering wheel is showing some signs of wear – anybody who knows these cars will know that the interior trim does not wear particularly well and although the steering wheel does show some signs, it is in fact a good one considering how most look in a Clio V6.
.
The carpets are without any damage, the dashboard and all trims are also good.
Everything works just as it should do.

Ready to be enjoyed or added to a collection.

Engine

A Renault Clio – with the engine in the back.

Not just any engine either, a 3.0 V6!
Nothing about this car suggests it is a run of the mill Clio, but nothing more so than when you turn the key and hear the V6 fire in to life.

On the road today, the Clio V6 still feels capable and is no slouch, 0-60mph coming in a claimed 5.9 seconds and on to a claimed top speed of 153mph with 255ps (252bhp).
By today’s standard of hot hatches, these figures may not set the world on fire, however, add to this the fact that you are operating a manual gearbox, with the V6 sat behind you and this short wheelbase hot hatch is rear wheel drive, the driving experience is still absolutely fantastic today and arguably much more engaging and rewarding than many of today’s modern offerings – this is a car which is likely never to be replicated again.

Having just had a full main dealer service including belts, you can simply concentrate on enjoying this example.

Running Gear

All running gear is in very good order and this car is an absolute pleasure to drive.

All wheels are good with the exception of a couple of small marks (no kerbing, just general small marks)
When on the road, the braking performance is superb and straight, all discs and pads are in good order – steering is direct and the gearbox is a pleasure to operate.

Michelin tyres are fitted all round, with the fronts being new. (Michelin front tyres not fitted at time of photography).
