Body & Paintwork

Finished in the somewhat rare optioned colour of Hot Chilli Red Pearl, this example retains original paintwork across the entire car – even down to the wheels as of course you would expect.
All glass is without any damage and is original, likewise the badges and bodykit are all in great order.

The optional extra mudflaps are still fitted, and have clearly helped keep the paintwork free from unwanted debris whilst on the road because the condition of the lower areas trims/are still brilliant.
Absolutely no corrosion on the vehicle at all, and this goes for inside the wheel arches, and the underside as well.

Very few signs of usage at all, other than a couple of touch up’s on the bonnet which are minor and are to be expected.

Any of our customers will confirm that we only deal with great example vehicles, so when we say a car is totally honest in superb condition, we really do mean it.

Interior & Trim

The description for the interior of this Golf GTi is quite simple – it is like new.

The first thing you will notice when opening the door to step back in to 1996, is that the door latches and check straps are still in the original gold zinc plating finish.
Once you are in, it is absolutely time warp condition.

Everything works as it should do, with a great quality feel to all switchgear.

All the seats look as new, with no wear showing.
All the original VW rubber mats are still in place and in superb condition.

You could simply say it is showroom condition.

Engine

As with the rest of the car, the engine bay simply presents like new.

Nothing has ever been repainted, everything retains the original finish – including various brackets/bolts/nuts which still have the original and untarnished gold zinc plating finish.
It really is as good as the pictures suggest.

The car runs like an absolute dream as you would expect, and the service history shows great maintenance over the years.

A fresh service has been carried out including belts so new expenditure is necessary, the car is ready to either be enjoyed or tucked away.

Running Gear

The underside of this car is in great original condition, with all components retaining the original finish and labels.

Of course no unwanted noises are present when driven, the car drives superbly with good braking, and nice handling characteristics.
The gearbox and clutch are a joy to operate, and it is clear when driving that this is a low mileage car which has been very well cared for due to how ‘tight’ the car feels in general.

Any inspection is welcome.
