2003 Mk1 Focus RS

We are very proud to offer this sub 1,000 mile Mk1 Ford Focus RS for sale.

The original owner kept this car as a show piece, and it genuinely never saw rain!

The terms ‘Showroom’ or ‘Time warp’ are certainly overused – however this car is without doubt worthy of both!

Purchased new on the 26th of July 2003, with a copy of the sales receipt present.

The car remained with the original owner, covering very little mileage, and being a prized possession until 2014, when it was sold to a collector who proudly displayed the vehicle until we purchased the vehicle in September of this year.

The car of course has all correct booklets within the original Ford wallet.

Original dealer tags are on the keys, of which all original keys and fobs are correct and present.

The car has just had a full cambelt service, including water pump, at our local Ford main dealer, and also has a fresh 12 month MOT.
We have also had a two stage machine polish carried out, so the car is ready for a new owner to enjoy or admire.

As you would expect, the Imperial Blue paintwork is 100% original, and is in simply superb order, having recently had a two stage enhancement detail carried out.
All the panels are original, with no dents or damage, other than a single stonechip on the bonnet.

The underside still looks factory fresh and is quite fantastic to see.

All trims are in perfect condition, the badges, and lights are all unmarked.
All rubbers are as new, with no perishing of the door rubbers, aerial base etc…

Original dealer plates are still fitted, along with the original dealer rear window sticker, and tax disc holder.

An absolute stunner.

This is an area that a lot of MK1 Focus RS’s suffer.

This example is quite literally faultless inside!

The seats are simply superb, with no signs of any wear at all, and the rear seats have never been sat in.

All carpets are without any marks, and the original RS floor mats are still in place of course.

Dashboard is unmarked, and original stereo is still in place, along with original gearknob and steering wheel, all of which are in new condition.
Everything works as it should do, and the overall appearance is still fantastic.

This engine has barely been ‘ran in’ with such low mileage.
Whisper quiet from cold, with no tapping from cold which is common on these engine.

The car has clearly been cherished and loved, and the engine bay is simply lovely.

A full cambelt service has been carried out by our local Ford dealer, including the water pump which is often overlooked due to the cost of this particular part for the Mk1 Focus RS.

No smoking, either on start up, idle, when on boost, or on overrun.
The car pulls strongly through the entire rev range, with no hesitation at all.

Driving a Mk1 Focus RS is an absolute pleasure, the gearbox is nice and tight, the clutch is fantastic and performance is very good indeed.

All running gear is in fantastic order throughout – it must be seen to be appreciated.

Brakes are superb standard items, and have no judder at all.
All suspension is without fault.

The wheels are in original condition, with original tyres still fitted.
