History
Imported when new by Warrender Cars, this stunning Evolution VI has had only one keeper since.
The car has been kept garaged its entire life, and has only come out for the odd Sunday drive when the weather has been suitable.
Full Mitsubishi Service History until 2016 when the car had a service carried out by APT (World renowned Evo specialist).
Full MOT history is also present, and the mileage is fully warranted by the thorough Service & MOT history which is complete.
Benefitting from a fresh service, including belts, plus new tyres, and full wheel alignment, this car is at its very best and is ready to go.
Body & Paintwork
The Icelle Blue paintwork on this Evo VI is stunning, it has benefitted from a two stage detailing enhancement as part of it’s sale preparation and looks fantastic!
Zero corrosion on the vehicle, and zero dents or dings.
This car has clearly been cherished throughout its life, and also kept away from any bad weather – having been garaged its entire life.
All badges and decals are original, as are all the lights (including the unmarked fog lights).
All glass is original, and again is superb condition, with no damage.
The spoiler is without any cracking around the base (this can be a common issue on these vehicles), and the sideskirts/front splitter are without any damage either.
The black door window surrounds are still a nice solid black and have not faded as is often the case, and incredibly all bumper fixings are still gold, the zinc plating still being present which is almost unheard of on a original Evo VI.
This brings us to the underside of the car, which can very often be a real nightmare with these vehicles, as they do suffer from corrosion, mainly due to the lack of protection on them when they are shipped across from Japan. This example is simply incredible, and totally original.
Upon first purchase when the car was new, the under side was sprayed with black protection wax and has remained this way until we purchased the car, when we decided to undertake the tedious task of removing all underseal, and the shell is literally like new!
All brackets & bolts still maintain the original gold zinc plating, the fuel filler neck is totally as new (a common corrosion issue on these cars), as is the AYC casing, along with all the brake lines, fuel lines, all suspension arms, exhaust etc etc….
The underside and box sections have all now been protected using clear Dinitrol treatments, to give long term protection and peace of mind, whilst still allowing the fantastic condition to be seen.
Interior & Trim
What can we say….
The seats are literally unmarked, steering wheel & gear knob unmarked, original Mitsubishi floor mats are still in place and show no signs of wear.
The carpets, and kickplates are all unmarked, the rear seats look as if they have never carried a passenger…
‘As new’ is a term which is often over used, but this car warrants that term without doubt.
Anybody who is familiar with these vehicles will appreciate how easily the interiors wear, and will appreciate just how rare it is to find an example like this.
All gauges work just as they should do, the dash has never had any extra gauges fitted and is in perfect order, the door cards are perfect, with no lifting of the material at all.
Rear seats show no signs of fading at the top (a very common issue with these).
Engine
Completely as Mitsubishi intended…..
Zero modification have been made to the engine/power of this example, even the air filter is a correct Mitsubishi air filter.
Runs perfectly, no tapping when cold (or hot), and the car drives very nicely with a lovely progressive power delivery through the rev range.
Absolutely no smoking, wither on idle, on boost or on over run.
The engine bay itself present very well, again all brackets & bolts still retain the original zinc plating, and absolutely no corrosion anywhere.
To see an Evo VI engine bay this original, and in this condition is almost un heard of now.
Running Gear
All running gear is in perfect order, all suspension items are without any corrosion and still display the original labelling from factory.
Brake caliper’s are unrestored, and still bright red with no lacquer peel at all – might we add the brakes perform very well indeed.
The original exhaust is still fitted, and is in very good condition throughout.
A new set of tyres have been fitted (originals are still with the car).
The only single none original item on the car is a set of -30mm lowering springs as the only owner felt the car sat a little high on the original springs – The original springs are still with the vehicle of course.
A full alignment has also just been carried out, to ensure the car drives perfectly.
