The RS variant of the Mitsubishi Evolution vehicles is widely acclaimed to be one of the best driving experiences of the era.

The differences for the RS over the normal GSR variants is vast.

Various items could be optioned on to the RS variant upon time of ordering, and as such this car has various items specified, including the 4 pot Brembo brakes, 17″ alloy wheels & Air Conditioning.

Having spent its life with a collector in Japan, this example is almost certainly one of a kind.
With the usual market for the RS being rally teams, as the RS was the perfect base for a rally car, examples such as this are extremely hard to find now.

The white paintwork on this Evo VII RS is in great order, as you would expect for a car such low mileage.

We have just carried out a two stage paint enhancement machine polish & the car looks beautiful!
Zero corrosion on the vehicle, & zero dents or dings. One small touch up on the bonnet & that is all.

This car has clearly been cherished throughout its life, & also kept away from any bad weather.

All badges and decals are original, as are all the lights.
All glass is original, & again is superb condition, with no damage.

Mitsubishi wind deflectors are fitted, and in are in good condition.

A stunning example without any modifications.

The interior of this car is exactly as you would expect of a car with only 2,500 miles.

The seats are literally unmarked, steering wheel & gear knob unmarked.
The Original mats are still in place, in superb condition.
The carpets, and kickplates are all unmarked, the rear seats look as if they have never carried a passenger and are without the usual ‘faded tops’.

Anybody who is familiar with these vehicles will appreciate how easily the interiors wear, and will appreciate just how rare it is to find an example like this.

All gauges work just as they should do, the dash has never had any extra gauges fitted and is in perfect order, the door cards are are all good, as is all the glass.

Completely as Mitsubishi intended…..

Zero modifications have been made to the engine/power of this example.
Runs perfectly, no tapping when cold (or hot), and the car drives very nicely with a lovely progressive power delivery through the rev range.

Absolutely no smoking, either on idle, on boost or on over run.

The engine bay itself present very well, and the car has just benefited from a cambelt & water pump service so wants for nothing.
To see an Evo VII engine bay this original, and in this condition is almost un heard of now.

The underside of this car is in fantastic & original condition, it is unrestored and without any corrosion issues.
Having spent its life in Japan (with very little use) and then having not been used since coming in to the UK, the underside is as you would expect – brilliant.

Being the RS variant, the usual AYC (active yaw control) found on the GSR models is removed in favor of the ‘RS diff’, also a shorter ratio gear box is fitted, with a different final drive over the normal GSR variant. This, coupled with being lighter in weight, and various other differences make for a fantastic driving experience.
