The Honda Civic Type R EP3 is fast becoming a very sought after hot hatch, and with low mileage, low owner original examples becoming more & more difficult to find, we do not expect this example to be for sale for long at all.

A car which would look great in any collection.

Originally purchased on the 26th of March 2004, a nicely optioned facelift EP3 has remained with the original owner for 15 years – until 2019.

The original owner made the decision to have some upgrades carried out in 2010, being bolts on upgrades such as a brake kit, exhaust, wheels etc.
After carrying out these upgrades, the owner drove the car only a handful of times, and decided he preferred it without and parked the car away in his garage.

The car was sold on in 2019 when it was purchased and put into trade with a second owner (V5 still states zero previous owners) who set about putting the car back to standard with the original parts, and whilst at it having various underside parts powder coated and/or plated to make it really look great.

With such low mileage, the car had the PDI carried out, and another service with the supplying dealer, followed by a service carried out by the owner with a receipt from the supplying dealer for the oil filter and battery.
The vehicle also visited the Honda dealership for MOT’s.

Original booklets are present, in the original wallet, both original keys are also present, along with various invoices and MOT certificates.

Finished in Black, this example looks great in all original paintwork.

All glass, badges, decals and trims are all original, and are of course in good order, the headlamps look beautiful and the optional for lamps have minor ‘fogging’ which is extremely common on these, related purely to age.

All wheels are without any marks at all, a very nicely presenting example, which is extremely rear to find now.
Some very minor age and storage related marks, but these are very minor.

The interior is as per the rest of the car, looking absolutely great and the optional leather seats look beautiful.

All buttons, trims and switches are in good condition, the steering wheel, gear knob, and pedal rubbers are all in great ordr, still looking like new.

Likewise, the back of the front seats are unmarked, and the rear seats look to have had very little – if any use.

The carpets, and plastic trims are without any damage, and the floor mats are still in good condition also.
A very nice place to be, whilst enjoying one of the best ‘Hot Hatches’ produced in modern times.

The legendary K20 – What an engine!

Anybody familiar with these cars, will know that the engine is the star of the show, a high revving 4 cylinder with VTEC which loves to rev!

Mated to a beautifully operating 6 speed manual gearbox, these are well known for being a superb car to drive, and to cover ground at a very impressive rate should the mood take you.

Highly regarded as one of the best fwd drivers cars and hot hatches of modern times, the EP3 chassis and the K20 engine are a superb combination. The engine loves to be revved and the VTEC noise is addictive.

The engine bay itself presents well, as per the pictures.

On the road all running gear performs exactly as you would expect.
The clutch and gearbox operate beautifully, and handling is great as you would expect.

A beautiful car to both drive, and look at to admire.
