Here we are proud to offer our Grade 5A Honda Civic FD2 Type-R to the market.

A total of 14,062 FD2 Civic Type R units were produced until it ceased production in August 2010.
Produced for the Japanese Domestic Market the FD2 is highly regarded as one of the best Civic Type R’s to have been produced, when driving one it is not hard to see why.

A real drivers car which is very rewarding to drive.

The Honda Civic FD2 Type-R was the third-gen Civic Type-R, but unlike the standard 3 door hatchback Honda created the FD2 as a 4 door saloon with 222bhp.

This specific car was spotted by ourselves going through auction in Japan with a grading of 5A (as good as you will get for a used vehicle) with fantastic Japanese history.

Finished in Championship White, the Civic Type-R FD2 is iconic in many ways.
Whilst the UK got a ‘watered down’ Civic Type R (FN2), the Japanese Civic Type R (FD2) was a much higher specification car, with a limited slip diff, more power, better brakes & much more.

This example has just benefitted from a full detailing session & looks fantastic.
All wheels are in excellent condition with no marks at all, all with brand new tyres fitted.

Brake calliper’s are again, in great condition.
All lights, badges & trims present well as you would expect.

As with almost all Type R variants, the first thing you notice when getting into the FD2, are the fantastic seats, all of which present very well indeed.
Especially as this example has the highly sought after red interior.

The rest of the interior presents just as well, with the steering wheel, gear knob, pedals & switchgear all showing minimal signs of wear.
Again, all trims are in great condition as are the original red floor mats.

Clearly a well loved car.

The legendary K20 – What an engine!

Anybody familiar with these cars, will know that the engine is the star of the show, a high revving 4 cylinder with VTEC which loves to rev!

Mated to a beautifully operating 6 speed manual gearbox, these are well known for being a superb car to drive & to cover ground at a very impressive rate should the mood take you.

Highly regarded as one of the best fwd drivers cars & hot hatches of modern times, the FD2 chassis & the K20 engine are a superb combination.
The engine loves to be revved and the VTEC noise is addictive.

The engine bay itself presents well, as per the pictures.

After arriving from Japan, the car has been through our workshop, with a full inspection & the underside cleaned – which presents brilliantly.

The car drives fantastic, crisp & sharp steering, great feedback, a sensational gear change, a real driving enthusiasts treat.
