This car is in exceptional fantastic throughout.
Now becoming very hard to find in such condition, the Mk5 RS2000 is a great future prospect, especially when you consider that an equivalent Escort RS Cosworth would potentially be four times the price of this example.

Of course as you would expect, this RS200 has all original booklets, spare keys & brochures within the history file, along with various MOT certificates which help warrant the very low mileage.

On the 6th of February 1993 the first owner took delivery of this RS2000, whom remained the owner until October 1996 when the second owner purchased the car with less than 2,000 miles from new. The car remained with the second owner from 1996 until 2018. A total of 22 years!

The car has remained with the current owner from 2018 until present, having been stored indoors with a host of other very special vehicles on display as part of a vast collection.

Having recently benefitted from a machine polish paintwork detail, the car presents very well indeed.
All paintwork has been measured using a paint depth gauge & all is original paintwork.

All glass, badges, lights & trims are in superb original order.
The wheels have never been refurbished & present very well, with premium tyres fitted.

Rubbers are as new, with no perishing of the door rubbers, aerial base etc.

A very nice example, of what is now a very sought after & rare car.

As per the rest of the vehicle, the interior is in great order throughout.

The fantastic Recaro seats are the stand out interior feature in the RS2000’s, these ones still look great, bolsters are still extremely firm.
All instruments & dials are fully functional & all look new without the usual ‘wear and tear’.

All trims are superb, headlining included & the sunroof is nice and smooth.
A very hard car to fault indeed.

This engine has barely been ‘ran in’ with such low mileage.
Whisper quiet from cold, with no tapping from cold which is common on these engines.

The car has clearly been cherished & loved & the engine bay is simply lovely, without any modifications & as it left the showroom.

Driving this car is an absolute pleasure, the gearbox is nice & tight, the clutch is fantastic & performance is good, exactly as it should be.

All running gear is in fantastic order throughout – driving exactly as it should do.

The underside is in very good condition, in original finish throughout.

Brakes are superb standard items & have no judder at all.
All suspension is without fault & still in original paint.

The wheels are in unmarked original condition.
