All glass is scratch free and etched with the correct vehicle registration number.
The alloys have been very nicely refurbished and are without any damage.

The roof is in fantastic condition, with none of the usual tears or rips around the edges.

Interior & Trim

The interior of this car is in good condition.

Original seats, which are extremely comfortable and still retain the full original shape, with little deterioration to the bolsters.
Original steering wheel is without any marks or damage, and cigarette lighter has not been used.

The dashboard has the usual hairline cracks which is a common problem with Mk3 Escorts, especially cabriolet’s which are subjected to direct sunlight on many occasions.
The gearknob is also in very good condition.

Ford front rubber floor mats are still fitted and also a set of front and rear carpet mats

Everything works just as it should do, and is mostly original with only the Stereo having been changed to a more modern version with an electric aerial fitted.

A great place to be to enjoy the summer

Engine

Of course, this car runs really well.

Starts with the first turn of the key and idle remains perfectly smooth even when cold.
Smoke free on start up. The engine bay is presentable, and again, totally standard without any modifications.

A very enjoyable car to drive, and still a nippy car even by today’s standards, with the unmistakable rasp of the injected CVH engine.

Running Gear

As can be seen in the pictures, this car is in good order.

Original suspension is without any unwanted noises and the car drives very well.
Brakes work just as they should do, and the car rides/drives exactly as it should do.

A very fun car to drive and gets plenty of attention when out and about.
