In 1997/98/99 this car was awarded for being in ‘outstanding’ original non restored condition by the national Corvette restorers society, in meetings in Lake Placid, Carlisle, and Boston USA.
The very low mileage is easily warranted by looking through the extensive history file, looking through servicing receipts & invoices for various works.

Body & Paintwork
The very rare dark green metallic (paint code #58) paintwork is in very good order throughout and looks to be completely original.
Only 2,426 models produced in this colour.
The metallic looks fantastic with some sunshine on it, and it is certainly very clear that this has been a cherished car by its single owner for the last 36 years!
The fibreglass is free of cracks and ‘webbing’, which is seen all too often on these vehicles.
A couple of tiny marks to the paintwork, and some moisture bubbling on the front wing tops do not detract from the absolute beauty of this unrestored, and original Corvette.
Interior & Trim
The Doeskin cream leather interior is in superb original condition.
An absolutely remarkable interior, the leather seats are almost without any wear, and the owner has clearly taken great care when entering and exiting the vehicle as to ensure no damage has occurred to the seats.
All carpets are still thick, and undamaged throughout, even the original mats are in fantastic condition, with no heel wear marks.
All switchgear is in great order, with everything working as it should do.
The original 8 track radio/stereo has been converted to digital in may 2009 by Vintage Auto radio, with the addition of new alpine speakers and electric aerial, costing almost $800.00.
We believe that it would be difficult to find a better original interior in one of these vehicles.
The original 350ci engine is of course still fitted, and runs beautifully.
Many receipts and invoices detailing servicing works over the years, this really has been a very well looked after vehicle.
The engine is extremely quiet, and pulls strongly through the entire rev range.
A fantastic engine, with a great noise.
Everything on this car is simply superb.
Its drives beautifully, simply gliding along effortlessly.
The transmission is silky smooth, even when cold.
The suspension is without any knocks, and gives a very comfortable ride, but helps give surprisingly strong road holding abilities.
The car has just had 12 months MOT, and the MOT tester said the car is quite simply staggering, and a strong 10 out of 10.
