A one lady owner vehicle.

This car was bought new from Trimico of Great Yarmouth, and has been garaged its entire life.

In 2001 the car was taken off the road and dry stored until 2014.
Every single piece of paperwork history is with the vehicle, all MOT’s, full service history stamped in the original Vauxhall service booklet, all receipts including original purchase invoice.

The car retains the original dealer plates, rear window sticker, and even the Trimico printed duster.

You could not want for a better history file with a vehicle.

A superb red shine.

Largely original paintwork, a new tailgate has been fitted (original glass with original dealer sticker transferred into the new tailgate).
Paintwork has been carried out by Norfolk’s premier bodyshop specialist to a very high standard.

Original side mouldings are still present, and help retain the original look of this superb GTE.
No bodywork modifications have been carried out, other than the grey trims have been finished in satin black.

The car has no corrosion, and the somewhat troublesome rear arches are without any signs of corrosion, and are still perfectly straight.
Not many left like this now!

The interior, as no doubt you would expect with such low mileage is in fantastic order.

The usual ‘troublesome’ spots are great, particularly the seat bolsters which show no signs of wear at all.
Bolsters are also very solid, with no deterioration in the support they offer.
Rear seats and passenger seat look to have been barely used at all, in fact it would be very hard to determine if they have been used at all.

Nothing has been changed within the interior of this vehicle, other than the stereo and speakers (all fitted professionally with receipts present- original stereo is also present).

The multi function display is fully functional, as is the iconic ‘digi-dash’….no missing pixels, and illuminates just as it should do.
Quite easily the most iconic dash of any ‘hot-hatch’ and it still looks fantastic to this day.

Everything works just as it should do, all switches and lights.

Steering wheel, gearknob, and handbrake lever are all still in great condition, again, another sign of the low mileage and care the car has had from day one.
Carpets, doorcards and headlining are all fantastic also.

An absolutely fantastic interior.

Highly regarded as one of the most reliable & strongest engine’s ever to grace a Vauxhall.

With such low mileage, the engine runs as new.
A new cambelt kit & water pump have just been fitted, along with a full service using GM oil, new spark plugs, fuel pump & filter, fresh coolant etc.

Starts on the button every time, and is a nice quiet engine.

The engine pulls very well indeed, through the entire rev range and has no hesitations.
A nice noise is emitted by the full stainless exhaust system, which was professionally fitted early in the cars life (receipt for exhaust system and fitment is within the history file).

This is the only modification on the vehicle, and suits it perfectly.

The gearbox is a joy to use, nice and tight, engages all gears smoothly and quickly on both change up & change down.

Having driven many MK2 Astra GTE’s in years past, we can assure you this one drives beautifully.

No knocking from any of the suspension (these are prone to top mounts, lower balljoints, lower wishbone bushes) but on this example it is totally quiet.
