The Astra VXR’s have steadily been increasing in demand & value due to examples such as this becoming more & more scarce.

Accompanying this superb example, is a vast history file demonstrating a no expense spared lifestyle.

Within the original Vauxhall wallet are all booklets, all housed in the original Vauxhall binder, along with the original brochure, 2 keys are present & various invoices as well as the servicing & MOT history.

The Mk5 Astra VXR is certainly a very eye catching car, this example especially so, sporting freshly detailed Arden Blue paintwork, along with the freshly refurbished optional 19″ alloy wheels & blue brake calipers. The Optional AFL lights are a great factory upgrade & really help modernise the aesthetics of the Astra VXR.

This example is as striking as ever, looking absolutely superb.
The wheels are in unmarked condition, having just been refursbished, with new centre caps & wheel bolts caps to really finish it off nicely.
All lights and foglights which are usually victim to stone chips/gravel rashing are in great condition – this VXR is in great order.

The brake calipers are still original in finish, being the blue & even the disc centres present well without the usual corrosion.

The paintwork itself present very well, having been freshly detailed.
A few touch ups are present on the bonnet, but nothing more than you would expect and overall this is a superb example.

A truly lovely example, of a fantastic hot hatch

As you would fully expect, the interior is in great condition throughout.

The half leather seats are in lovely order, they present very nicely indeed & support you very well when driving.

A common issue on a Mk5 Astra is the lack of working air conditioning, but this example works as it should do.
All electrics work correctly, with all switchgear presenting well.

Everything works exactly as it should do, the steering wheel, gear knob & pedal rubbers are all in good condition, all piano black trim presents nicely & the original VXR floormats are still in place.

The famous ‘hooligan’ Astra VXR saw the Z20LEH engine come around with a claimed output of 240bhp which gives great performance in such a light hot hatch.
Not only that, but the fantastic gear ratios mean the VXR could often compete with higher power vehicles to the surprise of many.

Being a cherished one owner vehicle, the car has had regular servicing, and as such it runs perfectly as of course you would expect.
This car has clearly not had a hard life, and has never had a single modification carried out.

The engine bay itself presents very nicely as can be seen.

This is a fantastic car to drive, with surprising performance, and a great soundtrack.
A full cambelt service has just been carried out, so this is not due & the car wants for nothing.

As with the rest of the car, all running gear is in great order.
