History

Mr Blackhouse, then aged 45 purchased this stunning 2.0 litre Silver Triumph TR7 Convertible on the 23rd April 1981.
He paid just shy of £5,000.00 for it from the main dealer Dutton-Forshaw, Maidstone Kent.

He drove around 9,000 miles in his first 3 years of ownership, and the remainder in the last 30 years, that’s 1,000 miles in 30 years.
After some 33 years and now at the age of 78 Mr Blackhouse decided to part with his pride and joy.

The paperwork shows that the car was put into long term correct storage from 1993 until 2005, and the mileage at the time was 10,857 miles.
A real investment opportunity with the TR7 currently rising in value and set to carry on climbing into the future.

Today the car remains in truly outstanding, untouched condition.

Body & Paintwork

The car appears to be all original paintwork, and still in great condition.

As you would expect from a car with such low mileage, and having been stored correctly through its life, all the rubbers are in great condition, with none of the usual hardening/cracking of rubbers.

All glass is in great condition, as are the original badges, and lights/lenses.

The folding roof is un-cracked, and the transparent PVC rear window is still nice and clear.

Interior & Trim

The interior of this car looks superb, a fantastically retro place to be.

No signs of any wear are showing at all, with the seats, and all trims still remaining bright and unmarked.
All gauges work just as they should do, along with the switchgear all being correctly operable of course.

Engine

As you would expect with such low mileage, the car runs beautifully, and starts with the first turn of the key.

No smoking or unwanted noises, a nice quiet engine which drives nicely and smoothly.

Running Gear

All running gear is in great order, and the car drives very nicely.

The car appears to still have its original tyres fitted, which we would obviously advise were changed if the car was to be used, however, if the car is to be stored then of course they add to the cars originality and would be best left for this purpose.
