This Subaru Impreza 22B was imported new from Japan, which is documented not only with paperwork, but also with pictures of the car landing in the UK at the time which is a great little timewarp back to 1999. The odometer was converted to read in MPH going forward (all documented of course).

This example went straight into a serious collection of lovely other exotica, where it remained.
Little usage over the years & correct excellent storage means this example still looks sensational today, indeed it is the best example we have ever laid eyes on.

The car benefits from having had the original plastic cam pulleys replaced with the upgraded metal items to ensure longevity – the original plastic items are known for breaking due to the plastic degradation over the years.

A true time warp Impreza 22B.

As you would fully expect, this 22B looks absolutely fanastic.

The paint is in great condition having benefited from a professional enhancement detail session ready for sale.

Inspecting the paint, only a couple of very small marks are present which is testament to the owner who has kept the vehicle away from damage for 27 years!

Badges are original, as are all trims, all glass & all lights – the headlights even retain the original paper stickers on them!
Likewise – the drivers window is free of the usual scratching which most three door Impreza’s suffer from.

A stunning & unrepeatable example.

The interior is, dare we say it, even more impressive than the exterior.

Open the door & you will be greeted by the ‘new – 1999 smell of a Subaru Impreza’.
You will then notice the sill kick plates still retain the original protection film & are of course unmarked.

Likewise, the pedal rubbers, gear knob, steering wheel & ‘satin’ finish of the dashboard are all unworn.
The rear seats are un-used.

A true step back to 1999 in the greatest of forms.
Simple, effective & as new.

The 22B certainly needs no introduction, so we will not bore you with the factory figures or needless sales waffle.

What we will tell you is that this example is unmodified & although it has spent its life in storage – it has still been well cared for.
The car runs perfectly, as you would expect.

For piece of mind the car has undergone a full major service using genuine parts, this included the cambelt, pulley upgrade (original plastic items retained with the car of course), water pump, fluids & so on. The original items still remain with the car.

As you can see, the engine bay itself present very nicely – looking very fresh and ready to be displayed.

As per the rest of the car, all running gear is original without modifications.

The underside condition is a particular area where this example far surpasses other examples, the condition is absolutely outstanding.
All original factory markings are still in place, it really is superb.

The original wheels are still in place, along with the original extrenal wheel weights.
