2012 Renault Clio RS Raider

We are proud to offer, a very low mileage, and very rare Renault Clio Raider.

Renault originally planned to build 50 Clio Raiders as a very special run out model for the UK market.
25 Diavolo Red and 25 Stealth Grey was programmed but only 28 were supplied in total from Renault UK, 11 Diavolo Red and 17 Stealth Grey.
We are very pleased to offer the very last Raider built for the UK market, number 28.

This 2012 Clio Raider was registered new to its first owner, in April 2012 by Yeovil Renault.
After being cherished by him for 11 months it was sold to the second owner, his son, in March 2013 before being purchased by the current owner through Renault Yeovil in December 2013.
A great history file accompanies this example.
The black A5 Renault folder with Renault of Yeovil sticker contain all original booklets, all of which are in excellent order.
As you would expect both original keys are present.
The current V5 is in the file, along with various service check sheets/invoices and a few tax discs.
The very low mileage can be warranted through the paperwork history and the service stamps, of which the details are listed below.

Finished in Diavolvo Red Matt paint from new (NOT wrapped), this example looks superb.
Of course, all panels are original, as you would expect.

All exterior trim is in excellent order including the lights, badges and rubbers.
Original glass is still in place and all correct Renault window stickers remain intact including the supplying dealer rear window sticker.

The aerodynamic equipment fitted from factory is the rear roof mounted “GT” spoiler colour coded gloss black to match the roof and also the “F1” blade inserted in the front lower cooling area.

All wheels are in great condition and are the original Renault RS 8 X 18” ten-spoke “Interlagos” alloy wheels which are sporting nearly new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 215/45 ZR18.

Being a special optioned vehicle, the Recaro seats are finished in leather from factory and are in superb condition, still having the original ‘satin’ finish to the leather and only a very minor mark on the drivers bolster.
The rears look as though they have never been sat in!
Nothing has been changed within the cabin, the original steering wheel, gear knob, pedal plates are all still in place, and again in great condition as you would expect from a low mileage example.
All raiders were given there own identity plaque and this one shows number 28, the last one!

The standard Renault radio/CD, sound system remains as Renault intended and provides excellent sound through the original eight speakers, with blue tooth connection.
There was an option to fit either a built in Tom Tom satellite navigation system or a Renault sport monitor, this is one of only three Diavolvo Red Raiders that has the Satellite Navigation system.
Everything works just as it should do, including all gauges and switchgear.
The boot area looks as if it has barely been used.
The Raider has a factory fitted Thatcham Category 1 alarm fitted as standard.

No introduction needed here…. the motorsport pedigree of Renault competing and winning F1 titles is well known world wide!
With an impressive output of 197HP (200Kwh) 0-62 in 6.9 seconds, and a top speed of 141mph these cars still feel great even today.
This example is no exception, with fantastic performance on hand, and no hesitations through the rev range.

Turn the key, and the car starts without any hesitations at all from its 2.0 litre VVT normally aspirated engine.
Zero unwanted noises, just the great factory exhaust tone, which gives some great crackles when out on the road.

As with the rest of the vehicle, all running gear is in great order.

The original Renault RS 8 X 18” ten-spoke “Interlagos” alloy wheels are fitted with 215/45/15 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup and are not damaged.
The clutch and gearbox are a pleasure to use, and the Brembo 4 pot brakes perform exceptionally well.

On the road the suspension feels very capable with the “Cup” option fitted with the “Cup” quick steering rack as well, both of these help give great handling characteristics, with no unwanted noises.

A truly superb example ready to be either enjoyed.
