The Honda Civic Type R EP3 is fast becoming a very sought after hot hatch, with its much admired chassis & engine, it is not hard to see why.

What we have here is the ‘ultimate’ UK variant of the EP3 Type R… A Premier Edition which was the run off/final model.
With low mileage, low owner original examples becoming more & more difficult to find, we do not expect this example to be for sale for long at all.

All glass, badges, decals & trims are all original & are of course in good order.
The rear glass is factory tinted, as was standard on the Premier Edition.

The car presents very well & these are becoming increasingly hard to find in such original & honest condition without modifications.

Being a Premier Edition, it has the fantastic Red & Black Recaro seats, along with red carpets & door inserts, all of which are in great condition.

All buttons, trims & switches are in good condition, the steering wheel, gear knob & pedal rubbers are all in great order with very minimal wear.
The seats are in great condition, with only very minor wear on the drivers bolster, although this is being fussy.

Original floor mats are still fitted & again, are in great condition.
No modifications have been carried out, it is just as Honda intended.

The legendary K20 – What a great little engine!

Anybody familiar with these cars, will know that the engine is the star of the show, a high revving 4 cylinder with VTEC which loves to rev!

Mated to a beautifully operating 6 speed manual gearbox, these are well known for being a superb car to drive & to cover ground at a very impressive rate should the mood take you.

Highly regarded as one of the best fwd drivers cars & hot hatches of modern times, the EP3 chassis & the K20 engine are a superb combination.
The engine loves to be revved & the VTEC noise is addictive.

The engine bay itself presents well, as per the pictures.

On the road all running gear performs exactly as you would expect.
The clutch & gearbox operate beautifully & the handling is great.

Brake calipers have previously been painted red which suits the car well.
