1965 Ducati 250 Mach 1

Here we are pleased to offer this fully restored, low mileage Ducati 250 Mach 1 with just 38,867 kilometres from new!

The 250 Mach 1 is a very important piece of Ducati history, being the bike to bring the company the its first IOM TT win.
The 250 Mach 1 was also the fastest 250cc bike of the time, with a top speed of just over 100mph!

This beautiful example, is still sporting the tyre pump, speedo, headlamp & many other very hard to find pieces having been a bike requiring light restoration only.

Original registration booklet is included with the bike.

A very original example, ready to join any Ducati collection.

The 250 Mach 1 was made specially to celebrate the 1962 victory at the 24 Horas de Montjuich by Richard Fargas & Enzo Rippa. The red & silver paintwork is a direct link to this victory as it matches the winning bike.
These bikes are also special for another reason though, the Ducati 250 Mach 1 was also the first Ducati bike to win an Isle of Man TT with Alistair Mike Rogers in the 250 production class in 1969.

These bikes represent a revolutionary time for Ducati and are a true classic bike that would be an excellent addition to any collection.

As can be seen, the bodywork is in very good restored condition.

All brightwork is in very good condition.

As mentioned the bike still sports hard to find original parts, such as the original speedo, rev counter, headlamp, tyre pump etc, this bike required only light restoration & so is very very original.

All trims, switches & gauges are in great condition.

As you would expect with such low miles, the bike runs beautifully & the engine sounds fantastic.

We have currently drained the fuel from the bike & removed the battery, predicting that the bike will likely go into a collection with such low miles, obviously we can easily & quickly have the bike up & running again should a buyer choose so.
