We are very proud to offer here, a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V Spec II Nur in fantastic condition throughout, and with only 76k km’s (47k miles) from new, this fantastic example would look at home in any serious car collection, or indeed this example is ready to be enjoyed as a weekend luxury.

The R34 GTR is a special car itself, but a V Spec II Nur variant with this mileage, Japanese history, and such a great specification is very rare, and becoming ever more sought after.

In February 2002 Nissan released a final production model of the R34 GT-R called the Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nur. The Nür was named after the famous German Nürburgring racetrack, where the Skyline was developed. In total only 718 R34 GT-R V Spec II Nür(s) were produced. The Nür model featured an improved RB26DETT engine based on the N1 racing engine.

As well as the Nür engine, the Nür models also included a different colour of stitching on the interior trim, as well as a speedometer reading up to 300 km/h (186 mph), and gold valve covers instead of red. It also comes with a gold chassis plaque.

This example is #336/718 and was originally optioned with Privacy Glass, SatNav & 6 Speakers, Side Airbags.

History

Quite often with Japanese imported vehicles, the history is missing or can be patchy at best….making potential buyers a little uneasy.

Thankfully we have no such issue here, with the original service book being present, showing great care being taken of the car over the years.
Also within the file is a Japanese HPI which we have carried out, and 3x original keys and the original GTR fob.

Also included is the auction sheet which states the grading as 4.5B.

9 x services detailed in the original Japanese service booklet, plus what appears to be the original PDI sheet.

Many imported cars are converted to miles upon import to the UK, which can make the mileage a little confusing with part KM and part miles – this example still reads in KM’s so no confusion at all.
A recent service has been carried out, and also a recent detail.

Body & Paintwork

Having recently benefited from a full bodywork detailing session, the bodywork of this example really does look fantastic, and particularly striking in the rare pearl white.
Of the 718 V Spec II Nur models produced, only 141 of them were in the QX1 Pearl White colour we see here.

The usual areas to look at on the R34 GTR are all very good, the original Carbon bonnet is still in place, and in very good condition, with a lovely carbon weave evident across the panel, as is the carbon fibre rear diffuser. Nismo carbon fibre b pillar covers are also fitted, and are as new.

The Ray’s Engineering alloy wheels are a perfect addition to the R34 GTR, giving a nice aggressive and modern look.
The wheels are in superb condition as you would expect, with only one very small mark present on a front wheel lip.

A Z-Tune front bumper is fitted, which gives a brutally aggressive look, helped further by the addition of the Nismo side and rear spats.
The Nismo smoked indicators and Nismo LED tail lights help give a more modern appearance to the lighting, with the LED tail lights looking fantastic.

A beautiful example of a very rare car indeed.

Interior & Trim

Open the door of this V Spec II Nur and you are aware that you are stepping in to, what is arguably the ultimate 90’s/00’s Japanese Performance Machine.
Until the V Spec II the R34 had not seen the black trim, and it suits the car perfectly, along with the aluminium pedals, Nismo gearknob, and of course the LCD multifuction display which works perfectly.

Original floor mats are still in place, GTR sill plates are in great condition, and all seats (with the addition of the rare optional side airbags) are in absolutely superb condition.
A Nardi steering wheel is fitted, which also sports a quick release system and comes with a boss lock kit.

A HKS boost controller is fitted, and gauges are in place to help keep an eye on all engine parameters (easily removed if desired).

Completely fantastic condition, and a great place to be.

Engine

What an engine!!!

The legendary RB26DETT, and being the Nur model it comes with the N1 engine variant, which among other differences, is a thicker walled block with lightened/balanced pistons, rods and crank. Also of course, it has the N1 water and oil pumps.

This example also sports some fantastic upgrades, such as a HKS T04Z turbo (turbo rated for 650bhp), HKS stainless manifold, HKS wastegate, HKS step 2 cams, Greddy intake pipe with a HKS mushroom filter, Greddy Intercooler piping with a RH9 intercooler, Sard fuel Rail, Sard fuel pressure regulator, Tomei in tank fuel pump, Sard 800cc injectors and a custom titanium exhaust system (which sounds incredible).

To keep on top of other areas a Oil catch tank is fitted, along with a Grex oil cooler kit.
A couple of ARC dress up parts are fitted, and the engine bay looks simply fantastic – sporting the correct gold valve covers and chassis plaque of course.

A dyno print out is present, which shows a power output of 550bhp, which on the road, feels superb.

Running Gear

Of course, this car drives fantastic…it is a R34 GTR so you expect it to impress!
It does not disappoint.

HKS Hypermax coilover suspension has been fitted, and helps give great handling of course… and this is maintained with the addition of Yokohama Advan Sport V10S tyres.

The Exedy twin plate clutch operates very nicely and is perfectly fine for normal use, the gearbox is an absolute joy to operate as you would expect.
No unwanted noises at all, just a pure pleasure to drive with great braking and handling capabilities.
