History

First Registered 15th June 1989.

The car is supplied with a letter from the current owner John Pullen
Mr James McBurney bought This Alfa Romeo as a birthday present for his wife Gillian, but registered the car in his own name.
He then registered the car to his business as a company car.
At the age of 60, and due to the lack of power steering, his wife decided to give the car to her son Alistair, the MOT certificates prove that during his ownership, he covered only 300 Kilometres!
Basically he did not use the car, therefore it is virtually a one owner car.
(Letter supplied to confirm)

Recent bills total £3,000 over the last 18 months to bring this car to the finest condition.
The only reason the current owner is parting with the car, is because he has just bought a 1975 Series 2 Spider which he needs to concentrate on.

Body & Paintwork

The Bodywork on this car is very good, with no signs of any corrosion anywhere, and the paint still gives a great shine.
The paintwork has no faded/fading areas as with most cars, its still a bright red, as an Alfa Romeo should be!

All lights & badges are in good condition, as is the chrome work on the car.

Inside the engine bay is in very good condition, as is the boot floor, still having factory stickers on the boot floor.

The car comes with a factory (optional extra from new) hardtop roof, and all wheels are unmarked and in original paint!

Interior & Trim

The interior is in very good condition, as you would expect from a car with such low mileage.
The carpets are still a nice bright red, with no staining, all switches and instruments work as they should.

The seats are very good, which is quite rare with these cars.
As the pictures illustrate, both the seats have very good bolsters and are also the best colour seats available in our opinion.

The steering wheel and gear knob/levers  are all in good condition with only minimal wear present.

Engine

The car starts nicely, and runs quietly as you would expect from an engine which has only just covered 40,000 miles!
The car pulls well, and drives smoothly as it should do.

The gearbox is smooth, with no whining or crunching of any gears either when changing up or down gear.
A really superb drive.

Running Gear

This car drives exactly as you would expect, the steering is tight and precise.

No knocks or clunks from the suspension, and the ride is smooth and calm, exactly as a drop top summer car should be!
